What?

Three pop-up Farm Shops across the Trust (Hammersmith Hospital, St Mary’s Hospital and Charing Cross Hospital) using temporary structures in courtyard and car park, as well as the use of an internal shop; grocery boxes available to order online for collection at the hospital sites, and for home delivery by request; care package order service, available to friends and families of patients; PPE distribution and online booking service; transportation and logistics support, for example transporting medical staff between sites to avoid public transport.

These services are all centred around the Imperial Farm Shops. Staff are able to visit before, during or after work to pick up individual items of groceries and key household goods at cost.

The Farm Shops have a real charitable, friendly atmosphere where are volunteers are on hand helping front line workers avoid the supermarket hustle.

How?

Enabled by the support of Imperial NHS Trust, as well as volunteers from the Friends of Imperial Charity we were quickly able to mobilise three sites and are now operating our Farm Shops daily from 8am to 8pm.
